Pamela Goedhart is a professional artist who works in both oils and watercolors. "I have always painted to express the natural beauty I see around me," she explains. "As I paint, I like to convey the mood of that moment - the changing light, the energy, the movement and the sheer joy of that experience."
"I am inspired by so many things - everything from small everyday items in the sunshine to the breathtaking views of the coast. Thus I have several series going - landscapes and still lifes and many abstracts too," she explains.
Pam has won numerous awards and has been featured in the Santa Rosa Press Democrat Q section, Sunset Magazine, Mendocino Traveler's Guide, the ICO and Soundings among others. Her watercolor "Sassy Night" was awarded first place in Water Media at Art In The Redwoods 2005. Her watercolor "Sassy Redhead" was chosen for the cover of the Studio Discovery Tour brochure that same year. Her oil painting "San Francisco Impressions" won a Judges award at Art in the Redwoods in 2008.
Since then, Pam has branched out to work even more in oils and collage as well. She shows her work throughout California, including Spindrift Gallery in Gualala, The Sea Ranch Lodge, and Panache Gallery in Mendocino. Her work is also available at her Sea Ranch studio upon appointment.
