Studio Discovery TourLabor Day weekend & the weekend after
| |||||
My artistic training has touched many points of the compass. In college I was a Theater Arts major. In later life I got seriously involved in weaving and jewelry making, taking classes at San Jose State in lost wax casting and fabrication design. The construction of my ceramics employ slab, coil, and small units of stoneware clay pieced together and melded on the inside of the piece only, to retain the deep textures I so admire.
I am a member of Gualala Arts in Gualala, California and have served as its Dolphin Gallery coordinator from 1992 through 1996. Other memberships include the North Coast Artists Guild, and Mendocino Art Center. I enter many juried shows during the year and my work has been featured at Marin Society of Artists at Ross in Marin County; Gallery One at Pt. Reyes Station; Luther Burbank Center in Santa Rosa; as well as the Sebastopol Center for the Arts; the Mendocino Arts Center and the Fort Bragg Center for the Arts. I have been represented by Arches Gallery in Healdsburg; Raspberries and Raku in Yountville and the Dolphin Gallery in Gualala. Call anytime for an enjoyable Sea Bluff Studio tour.
