Drew Fagan returned to painting full time in 2004 after a 22 year hiatus. He received a BFA from Stanford University where he studied under Daniel Mendelowitz, Matthew Kahn and Victor Arnautoff.
His earlier, abstract work has been shown at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art,
the original Spago Restaurant in Hollywood and in other solo and group shows. He began painting realism at the request of his late mother, who unfortunately never got to see the results of her request.
In August 2007 he was one of 14 painters inducted into the California Art Club as an Artist Member. Additionally, he is a member of the North Coast Artist's Guild, The Stanford University Art Alumni and the Gualala Art Center. His work can be found in numerous collections throughout the United States, in Europe, Japan and South America.
