For Me,
It's All About Transformation................
I am an Abstract painter; working on canvas and/or paper with layers of transparent color to create new color and light in my work. My tools are - my hands, brushes, sticks, rags and anything else I find around my studio.
A running theme throughout my work is a striving for balance, connection and relationship between the worlds of Spiritual and Physical. Quite often images appear that I have not intentionally placed. I believe the images that present themselves are messengers from these worlds.
Painting workshops - During the past nine years I have been facilitating "sleep over" weekend painting workshops at my home/studio in Anchor Bay; as well as 8 night - 7 day workshops in Mexico & France.
In additional to these workshops I offer 2- day workshops "Workshops On The Fly" in Sayulita, Mexico at my Art Gallery...Arte De Sayulita. HYPERLINK "http://www.artedesayulita.com" www.artedesayulita.com. No experience necessary. Artist from all skill levels attend........completely experiential...I encourage you to paint, paint and paint some more.......But, most importantly we have FUN!
