Mercedes Romo has been creating
one-of-a-kind mosaics for five years in the Gualala area. Her
mosaics are made with ceramic and Italian glass tile, and the
designs are influenced by the arts of antiquity, but sometimes are
inspired by a more whimsical motif.
These pieces can be presented within a complimenting decorative
table base, frame, or as a faux fragment. Mercedes will accept
commissions and will work with a client to create a unique and
individual piece. Mural painting is another of her interests.

spent many years in Florida and attended Ringling School of Art for
Interior Design in Sarasota.
